CHAMBER ANNOUNCES 71st AZALEA FESTIVAL THEME
The Brookings-Harbor Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the theme for the 2010 Azalea Festival: “Beauty and the Beach”. The winning entry was submitted by Dave Grimes and selected by the Chamber’s Board of Directors.
The Festival Theme is intended to reflect the qualities of the Brookings-Harbor area and be easily adapted to the decoration of parade entries.
This year we are celebrating the 71st Azalea Festival, which has been a part of Memorial Day Weekend in Brookings-Harbor every year, except for a brief period in the 1940’s. This year’s festival will occur from May 28th through May 31st.
