It’s a rough one out here on the Oregon Coast right now. Huge surf and swells, high tides, massive rain-fall, flooding, rivers at or beyond flood state, land-slides, sink-holes, power outages, ocean debris on roads, beaches, parking lots, etc. You get the drift. We at the Oregon Coast Digest want to remind everyone to check ODOT Trip check http://tripcheck.com/Pages/RCMap.asp# before you roads for any distance driving. Lots of issues out there and more to come with increased rainfall and wind. Be safe out there, be prepared for the possibility of getting stuck somewhere for hours, bring food, water, rain gear, blankets and maybe water-wings or an inflatable raft!
Stay safe and stay alive to see what treasures the storms may have brought to the coast after the conditions clear.
